Agrium Conda Phosphate Operations

Agrium Conda Phosphate Operations ("Agrium CPO") is a major producer of concentrated, phosphate based fertilizers located in Soda Springs, Idaho. Wholly owned by Agrium Inc., a New York Stock Exchange traded company (symbol AGU), Agrium CPO operates a phosphate ore milling and fertilizer manufacturing facility located five miles north of Soda Springs, and an open pit phosphate mine at Dry Valley Idaho.

The ore milling and fertilizer facility employs approximately 250 people and produces a variety of liquid and granular phosphate fertilizers. Servicing a diverse base of agricultural consumers geographically dispersed across the western portion of North America, this operation benefits from its close proximity to certain raw materials used in its production processes, including phosphate ore, sulfur and sulfuric acid.

The Dry Valley mine is located about 15 - 20 miles northeast of Soda Springs. Employing approximately 120 people, this site produces roughly two million tons of high quality phosphate ore annually for consumption at the Agrium CPO fertilizer plant.
